Helen C. Fears, 84, of Wentzville died Jan. 20, 2026, at her home. Mrs. Fears married her husband in 1992, several years after the passing of her first husband. She enjoyed traveling whenever she had the opportunity, playing bingo, shopping, dining out and especially dancing. Born Oct. 15, 1941, in De Soto, she was the daughter of Charles Francis and Matilda Mary (Emily) Ganninger.
She is survived by her husband: Tom F. “Tommy” Fears of Wentzville; a daughter: Margaret (Barry) Miller of St. Louis; a son: Robert L. Lovely Jr. of St. Louis; four siblings: Elizabeth Hudson of St. Louis, Nancy Ott of Farmington, Patrick Ganninger of Festus and Paul Ganninger of St. Louis; many nieces and nephews; and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Agnes Warden and Mary Ganninger.
No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Pitman Funeral Homes Inc. in Wentzville.
