Gregory Clay Sanguinette, 79, of Crystal City died Feb. 11, 2024, at his home. Mr. Sanguinette played Little League, American Legion and CCHS baseball. He was a veteran of the Air Force during the Vietnam War and was a lifetime member of the VFW 3777 in Festus. He retired from Doe Run as a hoist engineer. He was a big family man and loved spending time with his friends. Born Nov. 3, 1944, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Opal Eleanor (Gerber) and Benjamin C. Sanguinette.
He is survived by his son: Christopher Sanguinette of Crystal City; and older brother: Ronald (Patricia) Sanguinette of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his younger brother: Alan Sanguinette.
A graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1101 Missouri Ave., in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
