Gregory Allen Tary, 69, of Fenton died Jan. 9, 2026, at Maple Grove Wellness in Fenton. Mr. Tary worked in electronic security and was a Christian. He had a deep appreciation for cars and was known as a true people person who loved to make others laugh. He will be remembered for his warm heart and friendly spirit. Born Jan. 12, 1956, in Kirkwood, he was the son of the late Mary Sue and Robert Clair Tary.
He is survived by his former wife of 43 years: Kathy (Kraft) Tary of Fenton, whom he married on May 24, 1980; four children: Sarah (Cody) Duncan of Potosi, Chris (Ashley) Tary of House Springs, Chelsea (Brian) Tary of Fenton and Kate (Michael) Tary of Michigan; six grandchildren: Hailey, Brook, Cody and Harley Duncan of Potosi and Avery and Morgan Tary of House Springs; and a sibling: Curt (Nora) Tary of Arnold.
Celebration of life is scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at Wild Sun Winery, 4830 Pioneer Road, in Hillsboro.
