Glenn Fay Pierce, 84, of High Ridge died June 1, 2024, at his home. Mr. Pierce spent most of his life as a carpenter. He was in the Carpenter’s Union and did commercial carpentry for 58 years. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing and, in his younger years, he kept a bountiful garden. Born Oct. 3, 1939, in Jonesboro, Ark., he was the son of the late Dolly Brown and Joseph Pierce.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Alice Gertrude “Trudy” Woolsey.
He is survived by three children: Melissa (Kirt) Wilkinson of Arnold, Paula (Aaron) Mattingly of Foley, Ala., and Kirby (Cindy Simmons) Pierce of Hermann; 11 grandchildren, including granddaughter: Marissa (Chris) Braun; four great-grandchildren, including: Adaline Braun; a brother: Junior (June) Pierce of Jonesboro, Ark.; a sister: Sandra Martin of Ark.; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by four siblings: Harley, Austin, Elvis and Gayle.
Visitation is scheduled for noon until services at 2 p.m. Friday, June 7, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, 1001 Lynn St., in Lebanon. Burial will be in New Home Cemetery near Falcon. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel in Lebanon.
