Gerald Stevens “Jerry” Wilson, 79, of Hillsboro died Feb. 26, 2025, at his home. Mr. Wilson enjoyed reading the newspaper and watching musicals, show tunes, the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues. He also loved celebrating his birthday, especially with balloons. Born July 15, 1945, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Carl and Ann (Rosenberg) Wilson.
He is survived by his friends: Gwen and Jerry Parrish and Lily Tsapelas; and his three dogs: Paxton, Maggie and Brody.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Sanford Wilson.
Services were held today, March 3, at Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus. Burial followed in Chevra Kadisha Cemetery in St. Louis. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
