Gary Morris Rossiter, 73, of Hillsboro died Jan. 30, 2024, in St. Louis. Mr. Rossiter was the owner of a moving company. Born Oct. 24, 1950, in Stockton, Calif., he was the son of the late Ethel and Larry Rossiter and stepson of the late Don Ewoldt.
He is survived by his wife: Denise (Nations) Rossiter of Hillsboro; four sons: Larry Baumgarten, Paul Rossiter, Alex (Ellen) Rossiter and Max Rossiter; a daughter: Felicia (Rob) Rossiter; 7 grandchildren: Jordan, Nick, Kalson, Taylor, Abby, Alena, Brynn and one on the way; his dog: TJ; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son: Donald Lassiter.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in South St. Louis County. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 703 3rd St., in Hillsboro. Mr. Rossiter’s remains will be cremated and later entombed at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville. Memorials may be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
