Weber, Freda

Freda Weber, 84, of Oregon County died March 7, 2025. Mrs. Weber was a school bus driver for more than 10 years. In addition to her work as a bus driver, she worked at Bianco Oldsmobile, where she was known for her commitment and hard work. Later, she brought her attention to detail and customer service skills to her role in the rental car business. She loved quilting with the assistance of her sidekick, George. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, sharing stories and creating memories. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, faith and gentle nature. Born Jan. 26, 1941, in Oregon County, she was the daughter of the late Thelma L. (Whitten) and George W. Pingleton.

She is survived by her husband: George E. Weber; four children: Deana R. (Tom Gilman) Phillips, Scott E. (Dianne) Weber, Michelle R. (Jay) Weber and Kenneth C. (Kristi) Weber; two grandchildren: Shalaine and Taylor; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son: Wade M. Phillip; and three siblings: Donald D. Pingleton, Kenneth M. Pingleton and Carl E. Pingleton.

Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until services at noon Friday, March 21, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
