F.A. Snyder, 81, of Fenton died Feb. 16, 2025, at Delmar Gardens South in St. Louis County. Mr. Snyder retired from the construction industry. He enjoyed gardening and took pride in his yard. Hunting was one of his favorite pastimes. He was a grand master in Tae-Kwon-Do, which he taught for many years. Born March 27, 1943, in Lake City, Ark., he was the son of the late Margaret (Patton) and William Snyder.
He is survived by three children: Sherri (John) Ward of Hillsboro, Kelly (Clark) Carron of Crystal City and Felicia Snyder of St. Louis; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and five siblings: Lois (the late Donald) Means of Ballwin, Dorothy (the late Homer) Price of Paragould, Ark., Diane (the late Ray) Wilson of Marmaduke, Ark., Kathy (the late Larry) Thomlinson of Paragould and Michael (Shelia) Snyder of Paragould.
He was preceded in death by a grandson: Johnathan Ward; and siblings: Anna Faye (Ray survives of Greenbrier, Ark.) Cummings, Eva (the late Terry) Mann, Juanita (the late Vernon) Ganz and two siblings in infancy.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
