Everett T. Elmer Jr., 81, of Cedar Hill died Feb. 11, 2024. Mr. Elmer served in the U.S. Navy, owned Elmer Electric and spent many years with the AQHA. He enjoyed joking around and spending time with his family and friends. Born Sept. 1, 1942, he was the son of the late Edith Feller and Everett T. Elmer Sr.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Barb Elmer.
He is survived by a child: Louann Bailey; four grandchildren: Susan and Dasha Strong and Celeste and Waylon Bailey; three great-grandchildren: Kayla, Grace and Jeremiah; three great great-grandchildren: Isabell, Timothy and Sydney; two sons-in-law: Chuck Bailey and Wayne Bonacker; a cousin: George Voss; and three special friends: Jeanne and David Fletcher and Herbert Payne.
He was preceded in death by a child: Anita Bonacker; two siblings: Barb Carrol and Marion Brouk; and a grandson: Dustin Strong.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at Arrowhead Hall in Cedar Hill.
