EricScott Royal (Zufall-Henson) O'Neail, 19, of Valles Mines died Jan. 5, 2024, in De Soto. Mr. O’Neail worked as a laborer for O'Neail Septic Services. He loved spending time with his family and friends, fishing, hunting, being outdoors and playing football. Born May 15, 2004, in St Louis, he was the son of Jeffrey Scott Henson of De Soto and the late Ann Marie Zufall.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his adoptive parents: Randy and Angela O'Neail of Valles Mines; a grandfather: Vern Zufall of De Soto; a grandmother: Clara Henson of Bonne Terre; a brother: Colten Henson of De Soto; six sisters: Elizabeth Zufall of De Soto, Keyana Zufall of Hillsboro, Shannon (Lucas) Lehde of Evansville, Ill., Jackie (Caleb) Singleton of Union, Jessica (Duane) Singleton of Festus and Kelsey (Sarah) Brock of O'Fallon; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather: Anthony Henson; a grandmother: Debbie Sanchez; and a brother: Kirk Wamsganz.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at the funeral home.
