Elizabeth Ann “Beth” Edwards, 73, of Arnold died Sept. 13, 2023. Beth loved to feed her family and friends and would make dozens of cookies and candies at Christmas. She also enjoyed canning fruits and vegetables and making jams and jellies. Born June 3, 1950, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Rose Balmer and James Murphey.
She is survived by her husband: Terry Edwards; a daughter: Rachel (Matthew) Branson; six grandchildren: Elijah “Eli” Robards, Lorelei Robards, Caleb Robards, Silas Robards, Xavier Robards and Sarah Branson; six siblings: James (Linda) Murphey, Thomas (Sue) Murphey, Dennis Murphey, Theresa (Mark) Novak, Roger (Geri) Murphey and Christopher (Debbie) Murphey; as well as many other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, at Heiligtag Lang Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, in Arnold. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary in St. Louis.
