Edward Lee Moss, 72, of Irondale died Sept. 23, 2024, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Mr. Moss worked at Fred Weber Inc. for 46 years until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming, fixing things and helping others. He was known for always having a project going on. He was a member of Arcadia Valley Elks Lodge 2330 in Pilot Knob. Born April 10, 1952, in St. Louis, he was the son of Elma Jean (Faenger) Moss of Jackson and the late Donald Ray Moss.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children: Ryan (Becki) Moss of Eureka and Rachelle Moss of St. Louis; his significant other: Tammy Gray of Irondale; the mother of Ryan and Rachelle: Linda Sue (Dave) Blattel of Eureka; four sisters: Debbie (Jimmy) Selby of Sanger, Texas, Mary E. Moss of Jackson, Janet Petersen of Lake City, Fla., and Regina (Aaron) Wunderlich of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; four grandchildren: Bella Moss, Libby Moss, Elin Moss and Paxton Moss; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Pevely. Memorials may be made to the Arcadia Valley Elks Lodge 2330, 204 McCune St., Pilot Knob, 63663 or to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
