Doreen Josephine Watts, 89, of Arnold died Dec. 15, 2023, at Crystal Oaks Nursing Home in Festus. Ms. Watts was born Dec. 29, 1933, in Oak Park, Ill., and was the daughter of late Florence (Guerra) and Lawrence Cimaglia.
She is survived by three children: Kathleen (Dr. David) Stansfield of Arnold, Stephen (Michele) Horrell of Festus and Charleen (Michael) Trbovich of Festus; a sister: Lorraine (the late Charles) McGuire of Dardenne Prairie; 12 grandchildren: Matthew (Tai Oney) Stansfield, Jessica (Lucas) Null, Jacob (Amy) Stansfield, Drew (Amy) Horrell, Stevie (Chase) Breid, Sami Horrell, Amy (Eric) Watts-Enmon, Alexandra (Patrick Salamone) Watts, Abigail Watts, Joshua (Danielle) Trbovich, Leah (Matthew) Redman and Michael “Pie” Trbovich; and 14 great-grandchildren: Francis Null, William Null, Anthony Null, Marian Null, Catherine Null, Charles Stansfield, Patrick Stansfield, Eli Horrell, Drake Horrell, Cade Breid, Blakely Breid, Evangeline Watts, Penelope Watts and Presley Watts-Enmon.
She is preceded in death by a brother: Dean (Doris survives of Cape Girardeau) Cimaglia; and two grandchildren: Timothy Joseph Horrell and Ayla Watts.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until a funeral Mass at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 6020 Old Antonia Road, in Imperial, officiated by Fr. Daniel Shaughnessy. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Joseph Parish. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
