Donna K. Bone, 71, of Arnold died Nov. 4, 2025. Mrs. Bone was a medical transcriptionist for 20 years. She later became an LPN and worked as a nurse until her retirement. She was a Christian. Born Nov. 4, 1954, in Granite City, Ill., she was the daughter of Alice (Land) Vandaveer of St. Louis and the late Henry Vandaveer.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 55 years: Charles (Buck) Bone Sr. of Arnold; two children: Charles (Tammy) Bone Jr. of St. Louis and Carrie Devaney of Imperial; five siblings: Dwight (Mary) Vandaveer of Pacific, Karen Dodson of Pensacola, Fla., David Vandaveer of Cherokee Pass, Annie (James) Adams of St. Louis and Jimmy Vandaveer of St. Louis; six grandchildren: Talisa (Jeff) Griefe of Beaufort, Brian (Ashley) Bone of Arnold, Chuck (Kristi) Bone of Imperial, Nick Devaney of Imperial, Zachary (Emily) Devaney of Murphy and Amber Devaney of Arnold; 11 great-grandchildren: Trevor Bone of Valley Park, Deziray Bone of Arnold, Rusty Lawson of House Springs, Breanna Bone of Arnold, Joanna Lawson of House Springs, Miles Griefe of Beaufort, Clara Griefe of Beaufort, Charlotte Bone of Imperial, Brayden Devaney of Murphy, Teagan Bone of Arnold and Adelynn Bone of Arnold; and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Nov. 8, 2025, at Kutis South County Chapel in St. Louis County. Burial was in Lewis Cemetery in Annapolis. Arrangements were under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
