DM Scott, 82, of De Soto died Feb. 24, 2025, at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto. Mr. Scott was a long-distance transport driver for Dunklin County Transport. Born Aug. 4, 1942, in Rector, Ark., he was the son of Wilbert and Mozette (Tidwell) Scott.
He is survived by three children: Michelle Thebeau of De Soto, Cindy Murry of Erie, Pa., and Travis (Rebecca) Scott of Edwardsville, Ill.; a sibling: Debbie Williamson of Chicago, Ill.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by four siblings: Gary Ezell, Bill Ezell, Sharon Balentine and Marsha Scott.
A private burial will take place in Malden. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
