Deborah Jean (Boyer) Collins, 68, of High Ridge died Aug. 17, 2026, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Mrs. Collins loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved birthdays, holidays, family events and special occasions, making sure to send a thoughtful card. She was known for her generous heart and enjoyed giving gifts and making others feel special. She was incredibly crafty and enjoyed sewing, gardening, shopping, going out to eat and decorating for every holiday and season. She was also known for being patient, hardworking, thoughtful and giving, and for putting others before herself. A breast cancer survivor, she was a strong fighter who faced challenges with courage, determination and faith. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, strength and devotion to her family. Born Dec. 21, 1957, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Betty (Bequette) Boyer and the late James Boyer.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband: Dennis Collins; three children: Christine (Jared) Patterson, Catherine (Ernad Cavka) Collins and Melissa (Brennan) Callahan; 11 grandchildren: Brooklyn Patterson, Brody Patterson, Teddy Patterson, Tinsley Patterson, Blakely Patterson, Tucker Patterson, Sofia Cavka, Edi Cavka, Adalae Callahan, Eleanor Callahan and Beckham Callahan; three siblings: Dennis (Becky) Boyer, Timmy Boyer and Karen (David) Bauer; and numerous other family member and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents-in-law: Joseph and Marlene (Grosswiler) Collins; a sister-in-law: Mary Boyer; and a brother-in-law: Michael Collins.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 4696 Notre Dame Drive, in House Springs. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
