Debbie (Iliff) Wallach, 65, of Chanhassen, Minn. died Nov. 14, 2023. Mrs. Wallach was a cosmetologist. She was active at Park Harbor Church in St. Louis Park, Minn., particularly in praise worship. She took part in other ministries including prayer, counseling and women’s ministry. She enjoyed Saturday morning date days with her husband, Dennis. She loved riding her bike along the many west Minneapolis metro trails for miles while Dennis would train daily for his 135 marathons. She liked snow-birding in Florida to continue biking and running with Dennis. She enjoyed visiting with and looking at her many photos of family, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. Born May 25, 1958, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Rosalie and Marvin Iliff.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years: Dennis Wallach of Chanhassen, Minn.; two children: Wes (Linda) Via of Union and Sherri (Carl) Slechta of Brainerd, Minn.; six grandchildren: Alyssa Wilken of Union, Madison Hoekel of St. Clair, Connor Via of Union, Desiree Slechta of Sioux Falls, S.D., Marcus Slechta of Brainerd, Minn. and Andrew Slechta of Brainerd Minn.; three great-grandchildren: Lillian Wilken of Union, Hayden Wilken of Union and Paisley Hoekel of St. Clair; and three siblings: Ed (Janice) Iliff of High Ridge, Dan (Claudia) Iliff of Cedar Hill and Stacy Iliff of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Charolette Iliff.
Visitation is scheduled for noon until a celebration of life service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Hillview Acres Good News Church, 5608 Mark Trail, in House Springs, officiated by Pastor Dan Iliff. Arrangements are under the direction of Hillview Acres Good News Church.
