David Robert Washington, 33, of House Springs died June 29, 2026. Mr. Washington was a member of the Pipefitters Union Local 562 and was a former member of the Arnold Rifle and Pistol Club Junior Trap Shooter Team. He enjoyed learning about American history, especially about George Washington. He also enjoyed spending time in nature, hunting and admiring the world around him, writing poetry, singing, working out and caring for animals. He will be remembered for his generous heart and his willingness to help others. Born Jan. 4, 1993, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Debra (Roubidoux) and David K. Washington.
He is survived by his wife: Samantha (Carder) Washington; a sister: Stephanie (Squire) Bell; a brother-in-law: William S. Bell; a grandmother: Virginia Washington; four aunts and uncles: Tim Washington, Karen Washington, Cheryl Roubidoux and Mark Roubidoux; his mother-in-law: Kathy Carder; his father-in-law: Randy (Kristy) Carder; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by three grandparents: Robert Washington, Raymond Roubidoux and Ruth Roubidoux; and an aunt and uncle: Gary Roubidoux and Tammy Roubidoux.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Visitation will resume from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
