David Robert Tuller, 83, of Cape Girardeau died April 20, 2025, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Mr. Tuller served in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Cambodia, where he fueled airborne planes. After returning from the military, he became a railroad engineer for the Burlington Northern Railroad, retiring after 25 years. He will be remembered as a jack of all trades because of his immense abilities in welding, woodworking and creating beautiful walking sticks. He also enjoyed golfing and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. Born March 11, 1942, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Gladys (Lee) Tuller.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Delores Tuller.
He is survived by a son: Patrick Tuller; a granddaughter: Hanna Tuller; two brothers: Paul (Cecile) Tuller and James L. Tuller; a long-time friend: Dorothy Black; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Glenn Tuller and Carl Tuller.
Memorials may be made to the Missouri Veterans Home of Cape Girardeau. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home-Taylor Chapel in Farmington.
