David Paul Mathenia, 64, of Imperial died March 15, 2026. Born Oct. 18, 1961, in Cape Girardeau, Mr. Mathenia was the son of Ruby Joyce and the late Thomas B. Mathenia.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three siblings: Michael T. Mathenia, Steven L. Mathenia and Lisa (Terry) Turnbeaugh; and two nieces: Emily (Adam) Beaumont and Madison (Zac) Adams.
A graveside service will be held from 10:30-10:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold.
