David Michael Peter, 36, of De Soto died Sept. 10, 2024, in Richwoods. Mr. Peter worked as a mechanic and a carpenter. He was an avid fisherman and talented artist. He loved motorsports and, most of all, spending time with his family and friends. Born April 3, 1988, in St. Louis, he was the son of Tammy M. Wallach of De Soto and the late Warren Allwyn John Peter Jr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two siblings: John D. (Heather) Peter of Imperial and Sara M. Kimbrough of Jacksonville, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a cousin: Thomas (Tapper) Wallach; a grandfather: Francis (Pete) Wallach; and a grandmother: Laverne (Jeri) Kramme.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until services at noon Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Mahn Funeral Home De Soto Chapel, 900 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to the Wildlife Rescue, 1864 Little Brennan Road, High Ridge, 63049. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
