David L. Gipson, 67, of Union died April 14, 2026. Mr. Gipson loved spending time with friends and family, especially his grandkids. He also loved Blues hockey, cowboy Westerns and car shows. He was born Jan. 21, 1959, in St. Louis.
He is survived by his wife: Vicki Gipson; a son: Adam (Jamie Scott-Gipson) Gipson and his daughter, Alicia (DJ Castro) Gipson; six grandchildren: Christopher (Michelle) Gipson, Austin Scott, Kyle Gipson, Alexa Hale, Carly Gipson and Weston Castro; three great-grandchildren: Eliza Gipson, Caden Gipson and Greyson Gipson; two sisters: Brenda (Roy) Holland and Regena Biggerstaff; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son: David Brian Gipson; and a grandson: Bradlee “B” Hale.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
