Daniel Shane “Dano” Cramer, 61, of Festus died April 17, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Cramer was a telecommunications technician with IBEW Local 1 in St. Louis. He was an avid St. Louis Blues and Cardinals fan. He enjoyed fishing, sharing stories and spending time with family. Born Feb. 6, 1963, in Festus, he was the son of the late Mary “Nancy” (Brown) and Deane Gerald Cramer.
He is survived by his wife: Kristen (Pruneau) Cramer of Festus; three daughters: Cassidy Cramer of Festus, Alecia Cramer of Florida and Abbey (Sam) Redman of Arnold; a brother: David G. (LaVon) Cramer of Decatur, Ill.; and four grandchildren: Chance Cramer, Bennett Lakebrink, Liam Redman, and Lillian Redman.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Laura Marie (Michael survives of S.C.) Martin.
Visitation for Daniel and his father, Deane, is scheduled from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, April 21, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W Main, in Festus. Services for Daniel and Deane are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, April 22, at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Mark McMullin. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
