Hash, Daniel

Daniel R. Hash, 71, of De Soto died April 17, 2025. Mr. Hash worked as a truck driver for a lumber company. He was a carpenter and woodworker. He loved reading, spending time in his woodshop with his grandsons and being outdoors. He belonged to Teamsters Local 682. Born May 17, 1953, in Rosebud, Ill., he was the son of the late Cecil and Ruth (Davis) Hash.

He is survived by two children: Angela (Brian) Loehr of Fenton and Jennifer (Bob) Staley of De Soto; four grandchildren: Micaela, Jackson, Tristan and Olivia; four siblings: Sharlene Jordan of Grandview, Irma (Harold) Feller of Camdenton, Ellen (John) Porter of Lenora, Kan., and Michael (Donna) Hash of De Soto; a brother-in-law: Ron Sorenson of Albany; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Nancy Mollison and Sharon Sorenson; and a brother: Kevin Hash.

Visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. until a celebration of life service at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at People’s Church, 1770 Missouri State Road, in Arnold. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
