Clyde R. Cash, 88, of Lawton, Okla., died March 20, 2024. Mr. Cash was a U.S. Air Force retiree of 20 years and a Vietnam War Veteran. Born. April 5, 1935, in Bonne Terre, he was the son of the late Anna (Rickman) and William Cash.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years: Alice L. (McDonald) Cash. They were married May 28, 1954, at Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma.
He is survived by four sons: Richard Cash, USAF RET, of Shreveport, La., Charles Cash, USN RET, of Hobart, Okla., Steven Cash of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jeffrey (Kasey) Cash of Hobart, Okla.; two grandchildren: Tonya Lyn (Rafael Herrera) Cash of Jenks, Okla., and Angelica Cash of Fort Worth, Texas; a great-grandson: Samuel Herrera of Jenks, Okla.; five siblings: Helen Drennen of De Soto, Pat (Charlie) Robart of Festus, William (Mary Sue) Cash of Alton, Ill., Robert (Pat) Cash of Fenton and Lilburn (Sandy) Cash of Bismark; and many other family members and friends.
He also was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Courtney Lyn Cash; six siblings: Rosa (Robert) Duren, Mary (Nick) Grana, Sandra (Donald) Null, Murphy (Norma) Cash, James Cash and Charles Cash; and a brother-in-law: Charles Drennen.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Festus/Crystal City Conservation Club, 2567 Hwy. 61, in Crystal City.
