Charlotte Mae (Estes) Bruorton, 68, of Dittmer died Oct. 22, 2023, in Fenton. Mrs. Bruorton loved the Lord, spending time with her family and friends and going on many adventures. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Cedar Hill. She was the former owner of Charlotte’s Webb Coffee and Gift Shop in Cedar Hill and High Ridge, where she met numerous new faces and created many friendships. She was also a caregiver and spent some years working at Sunnyhill. Born July 2, 1955, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Eunice (Prater) and Clifford Martin.
She is survived by her husband: Warren Bruorton; a daughter: Dawn Menke; two grandchildren: Trent and Hannah Menke; four sisters: Judy Sherrell, Virginia Martin, Joyce Lynn Conway and Debbie Mataya; as well as many other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at noon Thursday Oct. 25, at First Baptist Church, 8265 Local Hillsboro Road, in Cedar Hill. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview Church Road, in Luebbering. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
