Cassandra “Sandy” Parmeley, 83, of Wentzville, formerly of De Soto, died June 5, 2026, at Cedarhurst of Wentzville Senior Living. Mrs. Parmeley worked as an office administrator for Briarwood Estates and, most recently, Amvets Post 48 Auxiliary, where she was also a member. In her free time, she enjoyed making beautiful quilts. Born Sept. 6, 1942, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Elizabeth “Elsie” (Scuras) Kreft.
She was preceded in death by her husband: LeRoy F. “Bill” “Deacon” Parmeley.
She is survived by two sons: Craig “Butch” (Carol) Parmeley of Kansas City and Mike (Cindy Rydberg) Parmeley of Wentzville; and four grandchildren: Lauren Parmeley, Drew Parmeley, Alexis Parmeley and Abbigail Parmeley.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Interment will be in Peaceful Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans or the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
