Carolyn Frances AuBuchon, 76, of Imperial died Oct. 19, 2026, at her residence. Mrs. AuBuchon worked as a school bus driver and managed a Subway restaurant. She enjoyed tending to her plants, listening to music, watching her favorite game shows and soaps and being in nature. She loved time spent with friends and family, a familiar song and a warm hug from her son. Born Oct. 12, 1950, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Edith Odell (Caldwell) and Norman Dickey.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Paul Edward AuBuchon.
She is survived by a son: Nathan Paul (Melissa Marie) AuBuchon of Barnhart; and a sister: Adrienne (Doug Graham) Burnsen of Imperial.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
