Carolyn Ann Bridges, 65, of Herculaneum died July 18, 2024, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Ms. Bridges loved her Scenic View Nursing Center family. She is remembered for her strong faith and love and passion for others. Born Jan. 15, 1959, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Betty Ruth (Christianson) of Vichy and the late Cecil Hudson.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two children: Kevin (Angela) Bridges of Wentzville and Bryan (Jane) Bridges of St. Charles; three brothers: David Hudson, Terry Hudson and Tony Hudson, all of Missouri; a niece: Gloria Wilson of St. Louis; and a nephew: Joshua Wilson of Villa Ridge.
She was preceded in death by a son: James Bridges; and two sisters: Ruth Ann Hudson and Marilyn Wilson.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home, 9115 Commercial Blvd., in Pevely. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Arlie Singleton. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home.
