Carol Kay Lamb, 66, Mineral Point

Carol Kay Lamb, 66, of Mineral Point, formerly of Gore, Okla., died Dec. 6, 2023, at her home. Ms. Lamb loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved traveling, particularly to Oklahoma to visit friends, and she enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley music. Born Jan. 8, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Fern (Salger) and Gilbert Conner.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Lamb.

She is survived by two children: David (Mary) Sebastian and Melissa (fiance Rickey Cains) Downs; seven grandchildren: Faith, Joey and Izaiah Sebastian, Victoria Crabtree, and Brandon, James Jr. and Brooke Downs; a great-grandchild: Noah; a sister: Patty (Kenny) Gutjahr; three bonus children: Misty, Angela and Lavonda Lamb; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son: TJ Sebastian; and three siblings: Lois Ann Dunn, Connie Turley and Kenny Conner.

Services were held Dec. 9 at DeClue Funeral Home in Potosi, with Pastor Jay O’Neail officiating and Izaiah Sebastian assisting. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements were under the direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
