Carlton “Buck” Hamlin Jr., 80, of Pevely died Nov. 3, 2023, at his home. Mr. Hamlin was the owner and gunsmith of Osage Gunsmithing in Pevely. He was a member of the Plattin Rock Boat Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting and classic cars. Born March 22, 1943, in Bloomfield, he was the son of the late Ruth (Clodfelter) and Carlton Hamlin Sr.
He is survived by his wife: Brenda (Watson) Hamlin of Pevely; a daughter: Tammy (Mark) Hubert of De Soto; a sister: Betty Meyer of Garland, Texas; two grandchildren: Tyler Walker and Trevor Rice; and four great-grandchildren: Skyler Walker, Allister, Paxton and Karson Rice.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
