Bruce Allen Maupin, 63, of De Soto died July 14, 2026, at de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis County. Born Nov. 18, 1962, in De Soto, Mr. Maupin was the son of Sharon (Watson) Maupin of De Soto and Kenneth Maupin of Arizona.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Angela (Wright) Maupin of Festus; three children: Brandon Maupin of Hillsboro, Nathan Maupin of Illinois and Amber Maupin of St. Louis; two stepsons: Aaron Hampton of Festus and Steven Galatti of Imperial; several grandchildren; four siblings: Alena Moore of Barnhart, Tim Maupin of Imperial, Steven Maupin of De Soto and Alicia Portell of Virginia Beach; and many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at De Soto Community Center, 400 Boyd St., in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
