Fox, Brian

Brian Christopher Fox, 48, of Lebanon died Dec. 2, 2023, doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle. Mr. Fox was born and raised in St. Louis and followed the Catholic faith. Following his high school graduation, he joined the U.S. Army and served for eight years. He served in Germany and was a highly awarded soldier. He served as a paramedic in the Army and enjoyed the brotherhood. Following his time in the service, he moved to Dawsonville, Ga. and was a fire medic. Mr. Fox then moved to Taney County, where he met Tiffany. They were married on Dec. 14, 2016, and made their home in Gainesville. In 2018 they relocated to Lebanon and for the past several years, he has served on several volunteer fire departments. Mr. Fox was known for his larger-than-life personality and sense of humor. He loved riding motorcycles and served as Road Captain of the Legion Riders. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Sunrise Beach and was a Masonic Lodge Master Mason. He loved to fish and hunt in the Ozarks. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Most of all, he loved being a grandpa to three grandchildren and looked forward to adding another grandchild soon.  Born Dec. 20, 1974, in St. Louis, He was the son of Ellen L. Fox of St. Louis and the late Richard Fox.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Tiffany Fox of Lebanon; two sons: Jarod Fox and Mason Butts, both of Lebanon; two daughters: Cassie (Toby) Rychel of Fayetteville, Ark. and Madison Butts of the Philippines; two brothers: Ben Fox of St. Louis and Paul (Lisa) Fox of Cincinnati, Ohio; three brothers-in-law, Dan (Karen) Neill of Kansas City,  Dustin Neill of Hartville and Brandon Goosey of Springfield; three grandchildren: James, Lane and Timber and one on the way; a mother and father-in-law: William D. and Peri Neill of Hartville; and many other family members and friends.

Visitation is scheduled for 1 p.m. until funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home, 320 S. Adams Ave., in Lebanon. Burial will take place at a later date in The National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
