Brenda Joyce Holland, 61, of Farmington, formerly of Crystal City, died Oct. 13, 2024, at Camelot Skilled Nursing Center. Raised in Cahokia, Ill., Mrs. Holland was dedicated to her family and home. She enjoyed the outdoors and decorating her yard and home for the holidays. She loved spending quality time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her compassionate and loving soul. Born July 27, 1963, in St. Louis she was the daughter of the late Willie Bob and Mildred “Mickey” Joyce (Brown) Lee.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years: Vance D. Holland Jr.; children: Dustin (Brandi) Holland, Scott (Jade Jones) Holland, Eric (Alexis) Holland and Ryan (Baylee Lowery) Holland; two grandchildren: Zander and Morgan; a brother: Bobby Joe Lee; a mother-in-law: Margaret Holland; and her pet: Gordon.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Betty Keesee; a father-in-law: Vance Delbert Holland Sr.; and a sister-in-law: Paula Gray.
The family would like to thank the caregivers of Mrs. Holland.
A memorial visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until services at noon Saturday, Oct. 19, at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home- Taylor Chapel, 111 E. Liberty St., in Farmington, officiated by the Rev. Mike Holland of Radiant Life Church of Festus. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Shared Blessings or Shriners Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home.
