Beverly Ann Lemke, 84, of Bethany died Dec. 9, 2023. Mrs. Lemke grew up with two sisters: Barbara (Dick) and Nancy (Jim). She married her husband, William, on Sept. 24, 1960. She spent the next 64 years being a homemaker and mother to four children. Born August 10, 1939, in Chicago, Ill., she was the middle daughter of the late Kenneth and Madeline (Laporte) Edgerly.
She was preceded in death by her husband: William Lemke.
She is survived by a son: Michael (Jayne) Lemke; a daughter: Debbie Osborne; 10 grandchildren: Kate (Jarrod), Tori (Mike), Andrew, Jessica, Lauren (August), Nicole (Brad), Matt, Josh, Kelly (Matt) and Cole; four great-grandchildren: Waylon, Mylee, Kennedy and Oscar; as well as many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter: Melinda; a son: Dwight; grandparents; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; and two special friends: Marge and Nana
A celebration of life will take place in Chicago next summer. Memorials may be made to JDRF Kansas and Missouri Chapter in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, 64424. Arrangements are under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home.
