Beulah Irene (Niswonger) Wallace, 88, of Festus died Feb. 19, 2026. Mrs. Wallace was known for her faith, care and devotion. She loved attending church, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and spending time with her family. Also known for her green thumb, she enjoyed tending to her rose garden and growing tomatoes. She will be remembered for her big heart, kindness and generosity. Born Oct. 19, 1937, in Egypt, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Amos and Margaret (Hon) Niswonger.
She was preceded in death by her first husband: Jimmy Wampler; and her second husband: Frank Wallace.
She is survived by a son: Richard (Bessie) Wampler; four grandchildren: Kayla Tidwell, Sonjia Page, Adam (Krista) Wampler and Ashley (Adam) Hamlin; five great-grandchildren: Eloise Hamlin, Logan Wampler, Lucas Wampler, Liam Wampler and Alex Ross; a brother: Edward Niswonger; a son-in-law: Roy Tidwell; and numerous other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter: Melba Tidwell; and two brothers: Delmar Niswonger and Alvin Niswonger.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at Parkton Assembly of God, 1670 Hwy. M, in Barnhart. A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the church. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens in St. Louis. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
