Betty Jean (Ferrell) Mayfield, 94, of Arnold died Feb. 6, 2025, at Scenic Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Herculaneum. Born June 13, 1930, in St. Louis, Mrs. Mayfield was the daughter of the late Maggie (Marchbanks) and Lowery Ferrell.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years: Roy "Dave" Mayfield.
She is survived by two children: Linda Mayfield (Paul) Nevels and Patricia Mayfield (Bryan) Marion; three grandchildren: Michael (Nicole) Nevels, Gregory (Keri) Marion and Michelle Nevels (Brian) Gagliano; and four great-grandchildren: Dakota, Brooklyn, Riley and Aylana.
She also was preceded in death by a brother: George Ferrell.
Arrangements were under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel in St. Louis County.
