Barbara Jean (Ahrens) Barlow, 85, of Cedar Hill died Sept. 25, 2024, in Fenton. Mrs. Barlow enjoyed cooking and traveling and had a passion for crafts, particularly sewing and crocheting. She had a special love for animals. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Born Nov. 6, 1938, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Melba and Louis A. Ahrens.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James T. Barlow.
She is survived by two children: James “Jim” (Ruth) Barlow and Kathy Jean Barlow; two grandchildren: Shannon Renee (Coty) Link and Matthew “Matt” (Jessica) Barlow; two great-grandchildren: Elektra Barlow and Luka Barlow; and numerous other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by two siblings: Harold E. “Slim” Ahrens and June Stelter.
Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
