Barbara Ann Lairmore, 71, of De Soto died July 27, 2026, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Ms. Lairmore worked in the dietary department at Fountainbleau Nursing Home in Festus. Born Sept. 2, 1954, in Des Arc, she was the daughter of the late Charles Clinton and Rosa Bell (Poston) Crowley.
She is survived by a daughter: Nicole (Kevin) Shears of De Soto; two grandchildren: Cheyenne and Dakota; six siblings: Mary Jo Sutton of Piedmont, Sandy Gray of Qulin, Theresa Davis of Annapolis, Patricia Branson of Hillsboro, Lorinda DeBoard of Cape Girardeau and Charles Crowley of Ellington; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Kenneth Crowley, Patrick Crowley and Gary Crowley.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until a funeral service at 2 p.m. Sun. Aug. 2, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Thomas Gary and Billy Herren. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
