Alvin Clayton Schulze, 91, of High Ridge died Aug. 29, 2023. Mr. Schulze served in the U.S. Army. He was an electronics engineer with Emerson Electric until retirement in 1991. He was a member of St. Martin United Church of Christ in High Ridge. He enjoyed hunting, tinkering, piddling, spending time at his country property called Richwoods and spending time with family and friends. Born Oct. 27, 1931, in Cedar Hill, he was the son of the late Laura (Boemler) and Amos Schulze.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years: Charlotte (Huerner) Schulze.
He is survived by a son: Dennis Schulze; a granddaughter: Caitlin (Justin) Zinke; a grandson: Kevin Schulze; a sister-in-law: Barbara Schulze; a nephew: Gary Schulze; a niece: Laura (Clifford) Newkirk; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son: Brian Schulze; a brother: Virgil Schulze; a sister-in-law: Jackie Schulze; and a nephew: Ricky Schulze.
Burial was at St. Martin United Church of Christ Cemetery in High Ridge. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
