Doris Margaret 'Dorie' Bryant, 80, Arnold

Doris Margaret “Dorie” Bryant, 80, of Arnold died Feb. 20, 2023. She graduated from Jewish Hospital School of Nursing in 1963, from St. Louis University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1983 and from Southern Illinois University with a master’s degree in nursing specializing in psychiatric nursing in 1987. She was a member of the ANA, Sigma Theta Tau and MONA, and she previously served on the C-6 Educational Foundation board of directors. Born Dec. 6, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Esther M. (Smith) and James Richard Bryant.

She is survived by caregivers, Paula Wells and Deborrah Kemple, and many relatives and friends.

She also was preceded in death by a sister: Patricia A. Bryant.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Newcomer-West County Chapel in Chesterfield.
