Donna Lee Kohl, 62, of De Soto died Aug. 11, 2023, in St. Louis. Mrs. Kohl was the vice president and branch manager of Enterprise Bank in Hillsboro. She was active in the community, serving as a member of the Hillsboro Rotary Club, the Lions Club, the Hillsboro Community Civic Club and the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce. Born Dec. 28, 1960, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Harold L. and Betty J. (Richardson) Luster.
She is survived by her husband: Daniel F. Kohl of De Soto; three brothers: Larry (Kott) Luster of Vancouver, Canada, Terry (Jennifer) Luster of Lake St. Louis and David (Sharon) Luster of Pevely; two sisters: Marcia (Mike) Phares of De Soto and Karen (Greg) Carman of Frisco, Texas; six nephews: David Luster of Pevely, Will Luster of Pevely, Jack Luster of Pevely, Jemery Carmen of Texas, Stevenson Carman of Texas and Josh Phares of De Soto; four nieces: Koko Luster of Vancouver, Canada, Kate Lohmeyer of Wentzville, Karen Ann Allison of Dittmer and Rachel Roth of De Soto; and her four dogs: Bubba, Teddy, Toby and Maggie Pie. She was preceded in death by a nephew: Jake Luster.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 703 Third St., in Hillsboro, officiated by Father Boehm. Burial will follow in the Peaceful Ridge Mausoleum in De Soto. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
