Randall Keith Wheeler, 67, French Village

Randall Keith Wheeler, 67, of French Village, formerly of High Ridge, died March 14, 2025, at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Mr. Wheeler was a 1976 graduate of Northwest High School and attended College of the Ozarks on a cross-country track scholarship. He retired from Roadway Express after 30 years as a dock worker and union rep. He was a member of the Cedar Hill Elks Lodge 2678 where he also served as an officer. In 2018, Mr. Wheeler and his partner Naomi moved to Goose Creek Lake where he enjoyed fishing and taking boat rides. He also enjoyed making jokes, dancing, listening to music, especially oldies, country and rock ‘n’ roll, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues, appreciating and collecting classic cars and spending time with his family and friends. Born Oct. 12, 1957, in Winchester, Ind., he was the son of the late Janice Yvonne (Ratliff) and Eschol “Ed” Wheeler.

He is survived by his partner in life and best friend: Naomi (McGuire) Hahn; his ex-wife and friend: Julie Bobbitt (Billy) Brakefield; three children: Jason (Stacey) Wheeler of Hillsboro, Zachary (Lana) Wheeler of Festus and Ashlee (Jacob) Fletcher of St. Peters; three stepchildren: Jeff (Melissa) Crittendon of House Springs, Shannon (Jonathan) Godwin of Herculaneum and Jessica Barker of Fenton; 12 grandchildren: Heaven (Nick) Medlock, Kristin Cole, Lincoln, Levi and Luke Fletcher, Mya Lamkins, Genevieve Crittendon, Jayden, Faith, Destiney and Hunter Godwin and Rylee DePaul; two great-grandchildren: Sebastian and Caspian Medlock; and two dogs: Hershey and Baylee.

A celebration of life will be from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, at Cedar Hill Elks Lodge, 8430 Industrial Drive, in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of the family.
