Norma Jane Margaret Santschi, 81, of Festus died Dec. 5, 2017, at Festus Manor Nursing Center, where she had lived for five years and where she considered the staff to be extended family. Mrs. Santschi was a retired loan manager for PPG Credit Union in Festus and a member of Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City. Born Sept. 29, 1936, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Gertrude (Huber) and Dennis Hunt. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years: Paul W. Santschi.
She is survived by two daughters: Paula (Michael) Prindiville of St. Louis and Lisa Santschi of Atlanta, Ga.; a son: Mark (Gina) Santschi of Nashville, Tenn.; three brothers: John E. (Shirley M.) Hunt of Festus, Donnie (the late Linda) Hunt of Dauphin Island, Ala., and Dennis (the late Glenda) Hunt of Festus; and four grandchildren: Kyle (Kerry) Prindiville, Grant (Samantha) Prindiville, Kathryn (Ben) Schumate, and Madalane (Ben) Barham.
A funeral service was held Dec. 9 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, officiated by Father Clark Maes. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City.
