Nick J. Bognar, 80, of Pevely died Sept. 18, 2020. Mr. Bognar was a field engineer and a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. He enjoyed fishing, telling jokes and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Born Sept. 24, 1939, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Rose (Haselbacher) and Frank Bognar.
He is survived by his wife: Beverly Ann (Gamble) Bognar; three children: Michael (Aire) Bognar of Mehlville, Christopher (Laurie) Bogner of Valley Park and Pamela (Robert) Robinson of Festus; four brothers: Bob, Louis, John and William Bognar; and seven grandchildren: Nicholas, Robbie, Jack, Paige, Ethan, Ava and Natalie.
Private services will be held later. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
