Neal B. Alfred, 66, of Barnhart died Sept. 18, 2021, at his home. Mr. Alfred was a foreman for a zinc foundry. Born Feb. 14, 1955, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Cecelia (Lawson) and Wilbur Alfred. He was preceded in death by his wife: Marilyn J. “Jeannie” (Utley) Alfred.
He is survived by three children: Amanda (Bryan) Bartsch, Lindsay (the late Jason) Boyet and Joseph (Carrie) Alfred, all of Barnhart; six grandchildren: Tyler, Caitlyn and Sam Bartsch, Jillian and Sydney Boyet and Julia Jean Alfred; and numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandchild: Noah Bartsch.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. until a funeral service at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Burial is in the Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke, Ark. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
