Arnold woman allegedly found with meth

Justine Marissa Tentschert

Justine Marissa Tentschert, 35, of Arnold was recently arrested after being charged with alleged drug possession. She allegedly attempted to hide a substance that tested positive as methamphetamine under the passenger’s seat of a car she was riding in, according to court documents.

Tentschert has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony punishable by up to seven years in prison. She was arrested Dec. 1, and as of Dec. 4, she was being held on a $5,000 bond at the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro, court records show.

Tentschert was riding in a 2013 Hyundai Elantra that Arnold Police stopped Jan. 15 due to the car’s license plate being expired near the intersection of Old Lemay Ferry and Missouri State roads, the probable-cause statement in the case said.

Tentschert appeared to be trying to hide something as police approached the car. Officers also learned she was wanted on several active felony warrants, the report said.

After arresting her for the warrant, an officer allegedly found a suspected controlled substance under the passenger’s seat. The driver denied knowing that substance was in the car, according to the report.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported on April 29 that the substance tested positive as meth, the report said.
