Nakisha Nicole Rorer, 38, of De Soto died Aug. 27, 2021, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis. Mrs. Rorer was active in the De Soto Little League, coaching her daughters in baseball and softball. Born Sept. 24, 1982, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Dorothy Faye “Dottie” Rorer of De Soto and the late Charles Edward Hobbs Sr.
She is survived by two daughters: Ashton Nicole Skiles of De Soto and Dacoda Ruth Bradshaw of De Soto; two brothers: Matthew Glenn Rorer of De Soto and Larry Heath Waddell of De Soto; grandparents: Jim and Betty Little of Marion, Ky.; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N Main St., in De Soto. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 3, at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
