Monte Caldwell, 68, of O’Fallon, formerly of Festus, died July 28, 2021. Mr. Caldwell spent his early career in the restaurant industry. He later opened his own company, Caldwell’s Carpet Care. He finished his career as a courier for St. Luke’s Hospital. Born March 1, 1953, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Naomi Caldwell.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Catherine Caldwell; a son: Colton Joseph Ryan “C.J.” Caldwell; two siblings: Donald (Mary) Rudisaile and Janie King; and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by three siblings: Paul Caldwell, Bob Rudisaile and Judy Martin.
Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dardenne, 2083 Hanley Rd, in Dardenne Prairie, followed by a funeral Mass. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Baue Funeral Home in O’Fallon.
