Milton Eugene “Butch” Greenstreet, 75, of Festus died Oct. 17, 2018, at Jefferson Barracks VA Hospital in south St. Louis County. Mr. Greenstreet was a retired purchasing agent for LMC Industries in Arnold and served with the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War. He was a former leader of Boy Scout Troop 426 in Festus. He was a member of Our Lady Catholic Church in Festus, VFW Post 3777, and the Knights of Columbus Post 1230. Born Jan. 17, 1943, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Melba Dell (Lower) and Milton F. Greenstreet.

He is survived by a son: Jesse (Katie) Greenstreet of Kansas City; a brother: Dennis (Toni) Greenstreet of Arnold; a sister: Joyce (Jerry) Muinos of San Diego; his former wife: Mary (Rohde) Greenstreet of Festus; three nieces: Michele (Michael) Zimmerman of Roswell, Ga., Melissa (Shawn) Sheldon of Bonne Terre and Angie Clements of Crystal City; a nephew: Eric (Amanda) Greenstreet of Festus; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Our Lady Catholic Church, 1550 St. Mary’s Lane, Festus, officiated by Father Gregory Klump. Burial with full military honors will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
